Time: 15 hours
Tune: Hurricane Streets ~Hey Monday
Tools: pen, paper, tablet, CS3

The storm is rushing on me
Here's the flood flash
I feel so locked and loaded
Let me out, let me out

Wake up in a wasteland
Where the trees are crashing fast
Make or break
Or the road explodes
Get out, get out of this town

Let the storm grow stronger
Let us speed up
Or get blown over
Time's wasting
How much longer
Before I get myself free
Of these hurricane streets?

Headed for disaster
Way beyond the fear
In the rearview
Watch it all just disappear
Disappear

I don't care where I'm headed
Anywhere but here
Won't waste my life
Can't waste another night
In this town, this town

Leaves are blowing down the streets
Wind crawling up our knees
Somebody get the keys
Rain is flowing from the sky
But no fear in our eyes
We're ready to fly

I love this song so muuuuuch~~~~

kay, this time I actually has a story in mind when I drew this:
In the year 2116, scientists discovered a way to produce what they coined a "physical elemental personification" - in other words, creating a personality from a few similar elements based upon their physical and chemical properties. This fine young lady here is Noarca, named for the 5 most common elements in the atmosphere (Nitrogen Oxygen Argon Carbon). Her creators underestimated her affinity with her components, and were rather suprised when she blew the roof off and proceded to go hurricane on the rest of the remote research facility, destroying all the unsuspecting security drones and smiling psychotically all the way. Eventually, her personality dissolved and she wafted into the air with her bretheren. The scientists were thrilled, and proceded to make another one.

It's the first time I've ever put so much effort into a background - I think having the backstory helped me enjoy it more than I normally do. That, and Hey Monday is awesome. I know my drawings are still anorexic, but in this one I can get away with it: she really is 'lighter than air' XD :is stabbed with fork:
also not sure about proportion - in fact, VERY not sure about proportion - but hey, practice makes perfect.
used some swirley smokey brushes from somewhere on dA, so if you see your stuff just say so,
